Thimphu Developer Meetup V3 at Innovate Bhutan

On Saturday, 12 September, the Thimphu Developer Meetup gathered for its third edition at Innovate Bhutan, in the YDF Complex in Thimphu. The meetup is hosted by Karma Yoezer, and we were glad to support it.

The Q3 edition brought three talks and, for the first time, a workshop segment with live demos: Sangay Tshering, Chair of the Loden Foundation and CEO of DrukHost; Karma Yoezer, on turning old laptops into agent host machines; and Ugyen Tech and NoMind AI, on how they built Tshangla AI.

We support it because it is the same work we came here to do: finding the people already building with AI in Bhutan, and giving them a room to show each other what they have made. A Tshangla language model and second-hand laptops running agents are exactly the kind of work we hoped to find here. The room was Karma's, and we were honoured to have a part in it.
