Sonam Tshering is a Dabtong House scholar from the 2025 cohort, reading Innovative Mechanical and Electronics Engineering at Chiba University.

Their research applies advanced 3D scanning to cultural heritage artefacts — building a precise digital record of historical objects, so that the technologies of mechanical and electronics engineering are put to work preserving the past.
