Sherab Gocha

Sherab Gocha is a Dabtong House scholar from the 2025 cohort, pursuing a Master's at the Chiba Institute of Technology under Professor Sou Nobukawa.

His research uses computer vision to identify the growth stages of tomato plants in Bhutanese greenhouses — a step toward precision agriculture and smart farming in Bhutan.

In August 2026 he received the Best Paper Presenter Award at ICETCI 2026, held at Mahindra University in Hyderabad, India. Read the story.
